MOYA Studio was founded with a single mission in mind: to bring the most interesting and innovative bags to the market. Operating in the UK, the US and China, we act not just as designers, but as innovation enablers—transforming unique concepts into tangible products and helping businesses communicate their product stories to their consumers.
Our Journey
"Throughout my entrepreneurial experiences, I learned that 'the product' is never just about the bag itself—the colour, material, or pockets—but the philosophy and lifestyle it represents. Crafting the bag design and crafting its story have to happen simultaneously.
I've seen what happens when this doesn't work. My first business was a fashion app where I spent over a year perfecting patent-worthy technology, only to discover nobody wanted it. I've also worked with clients who had brilliant concepts and social media followings, only to hit impossible manufacturing hurdles.
The current system is broken. Founders hire multiple freelancers, spend months and fortunes before their product ever meets the market. By the time they learn what to improve, their budget and time are gone.
That's why I built MOYA Studio. We work holistically with fast iterative cycles, helping businesses get real market responses sooner and cheaper. Instead of perfecting in isolation, we help founders test and evolve their concepts alongside their stories from day one."

Moyang Yang is an award-winning bag designer and fashion entrepreneur with 12+ years of experience in fashion and luxury. As a three-time startup founder, she has developed expertise across the complete product lifecycle—from concept sketching and material innovation to manufacturing sourcing and brand storytelling.
Her achievements include winning the renowned DESIGN-A-BAG competition in 2023 and founding MOYA London, a sustainable luxury handbag brand featured in Vogue, Tatler, and The Independent. With native Mandarin fluency and extensive global supplier networks, Moyang combines technical design skills with practical manufacturing knowledge to turn innovative concepts into market-ready products.
